Mrunal Thakur is mourning the loss of her pet cat Billo. An avid pet lover, the actress shared a close bond with her cat and would often express her love for her furball. She was given the companion by her brother Mandar Thakur a few years back. Since then, it has been an integral part of her life. Now, in an Instagram post, the actress shared her grief of losing her furry friend. The post captured some glimpses of Mrunal with her cat along with an elaborate note which encapsulated her emotions after the pet’s demise.
Beginning her note, Mrunal Thakur thanked her brother Mandar Thakur for rescuing Billo and bringing him into her life. She wrote, “We thought we adopted him, but in reality, he chose us – and what a blessing that was! Billo, you became the heartbeat of our family overnight! Your cuddles, snuggles, and kisses were the highlight of my day. You had a way of sensing when we needed a pick-me-up, and your presence was always a soothing balm to our souls.”
Further, Mrunal Thakur expresses that it is tough to process the death of her cat and also shares the lessons he taught her. She continued, “You showed us how to deal with emotions, how to love unconditionally, and how to live in the moment.” Concluding her note, Mrunal Thakur wrote, “Rest in peace, dear Billo. You may be gone, but you’ll never be forgotten. You’ll always be the pillar of our family, and your memory will continue to inspire us to live life to the fullest. Maaw Maaw. I Nuv you.”
In terms of work, Mrunal Thakur will next be seen in Pooja Meri Jaan, directed by Navjot Gulati. Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik have produced the film under the banner of Maddock Films. Co-starring Huma Qureshi, the film was initially being considered for a November release last year. However, it was postponed to early 2025.
