Mohanlal’s millions of fans are eagerly counting down the days to see his powerful warrior-like avatar in Vrusshabha. With the film set for a Diwali release, excitement is building and the shooting has officially wrapped up. Recently, the actor on X (formerly Twitter) shared the joyous occasion of the film’s completion, giving fans a glimpse into the celebration.
Mohanlal shared a video revealing the conclusion of the shoot for Vrusshabha, directed by Nanda Kishore. In the clip, the actor, dressed in a brown-hued pantsuit paired with a white shirt, looked handsome. He participated in a lavish cake-cutting ceremony organised by the makers. The celebration featured two delectable cakes: a large chocolate cake and a vanilla cake adorned with various chocolate decorations. As Mohanlal cut the cakes, his co-workers cheered him on from behind.
Alongside the video, the actor announced that the film would hit theatres this Diwali. He wrote, “It’s a wrap for Vrusshabha! This isn’t just a movie—it’s an EPIC Action Entertainer that will leave you on the edge of your seat!”
He further expressed his gratitude to the film’s creators, saying, “Huge thanks to our visionary writer and director, Nanda Kishore, whose brilliance turned every challenge into a triumph, and to the incredible crew who gave their all to make this happen.”
He continued, “A heartfelt thank you to my producers for their unwavering belief and support. Get ready for an unforgettable journey! See you in theatres this Diwali. Brace yourselves for the ride of a lifetime!”

Vrusshabha will also mark Shanaya Kapoor’s debut as a pan-India actress.
Apart from Vrusshabha, Mohanlal has several other projects in the pipeline. Just a week ago, the makers released the highly anticipated teaser for L2: Empuraan, showing the actor in a tough persona. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, this film is a continuation of the 2019 political thriller Lucifer. Starring Mohanlal in the lead role, the movie will be released on 27th March.
Additionally, Mohanlal will also appear in Thudarum and MMMN.
