A 24-year-old man was brutally murdered in broad daylight on NH-44 at Medchal on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, the man, identified as Guguloth Umesh, was stabbed over 12 times by his younger brother Rakesh and their cousin Lakshman.
Shocking videos of the incident, which went viral on social media, captured the duo attacking Umesh while vehicles and pedestrians passed by.
Medchal police said that a murder case had been registered and special teams had been deployed to track down the suspects. “Preliminary investigation suggests that the brothers had a dispute at home, as Umesh frequently got drunk and harassed his family. A heated argument escalated, leading to the fatal attack,” police said.
