This came after police said Allahbadia skipped the second summon to appear for questioning at Khar Police Station, with his phone switched off and his residence locked.

Ranveer Allahbadia’s ‘sex with parents’ remark triggered a wave of criticism across the nation.

Troubles for podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia refuse to die down as the Maharashtra government has ordered an inquiry into his controversial remarks on comedian Samay Raina’s show ‘India’s Got Latent’.

The cultural department led by Maharashtra Minister Ashish Shelar ordered an inquiry into Allahbadia’s remarks after numerous complaints regarding vulgarity on India’s Got Latent and other shows running without proper permission. A meeting was convened in the department which was chaired by Minister Ashish Shelar and he has ordered a detailed inquiry after the meeting.

The row began when podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia made a controversial joke on ‘parental sex’ that went viral on Samay Raina’s “India’s Got Latent”. In the viral video, the influencer was seen asking a contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever.” This shocking exchange left netizens furious, with many calling it insensitive, offensive, and downright unacceptable.

According to Shelar’s office, the cultural department of the state has received several complaints about vulgarity in the show India’s Got Latent while other such shows are being run with tickets to the audience without proper permission from authorities.
