It was earlier reported that actress Kiara Advani, who is set to star in the much-awaited film Game Changer alongside Ram Charan, has been hospitalised in Mumbai. The actress was scheduled to attend a promotional event for the film today in the city but was notably absent. According to sources, it was said that Kiara was admitted to the hospital earlier this morning. And now, her spokesperson has cleared the air on the matter.
“Kiara Advani has not been hospitalised, she’s been advised to rest due to exertion as she’s been working not stop,” the actress’ spokesperson said.
Ram Charan and Kiara Advani’s much-awaited film Game Changer is all set to hit theaters this month. Directed by Shankar, the political drama has generated significant buzz among fans. The film has now completed its censorship formalities, undergoing a few modifications. According to recent reports, the censor board requested two major changes, along with trimming some of the songs. Game Changer is slated for a grand release on January 10, 2025.
According to 123Telugu, Game Changer has been granted a U/A certificate by the CBFC with an expected runtime of two hours and 45 minutes. However, a few surprising objections have caught the fans’ attention. While one of the objections is regarding the film’s title as the board has asked the makers to present the title in Telugu alongside English, another eye-raising issue requires the removal of the honourary prefix of “Padma Shri” before Brahmanandam’s name.
The political drama features Ram Charan as an honest IPS officer who takes on a corrupt political system. Kiara Advani features opposite him as a fellow officer, making her South debut with Game Changer. Actors Samuthirakani, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Prakash Raj, and Sunil among others also play prominent roles. The film’s trailer was recently unveiled, revealing Ram Charan in a dual role as father and son.
