Khushi Kapoor opens up about her bond with sister Janhvi Kapoor, dismissing competition rumors and revealing how she draws inspiration from her elder sibling.

Khushi Kapoor denies rivalry with sister Janhvi Kapoor, calling the idea ‘foreign’ and expressing gratitude for Janhvi’s guidance.

Khushi Kapoor, currently on a promotional spree for her debut film Loveyapa, has addressed a topic that often surrounds siblings in Bollywood: competition. The young actress, sister of Dhadak star Janhvi Kapoor, spoke candidly about their bond, the dynamics of working in the same industry, and how she draws inspiration from her elder sibling.

When asked about the possibility of competition between her and Janhvi, Khushi Kapoor dismissed the idea entirely. “That thought is so foreign to both of us. I think it’s so strange to think that we could be competing at all,” she shared during a recent promotional event.

Khushi went on to explain their mutual support for one another, saying, “Even if we were to be up for the same project, I think if she were to get it over me, it would be a win for me, and I think it would be vice versa. I don’t think there would ever be any kind of other way to look at it.”

Having stepped into Bollywood after Janhvi, Khushi shared how her sister’s experiences have guided her. “I mean, I definitely go to her and Dad for advice the most. I don’t think I would make any decision without their approval,” she revealed.

Khushi added that Janhvi has been an integral part of her journey so far. “Whether it’s something small or big, even when it comes to my styling, she’s literally in my group with my stylist. It’s me, Janhvi, and my stylist literally deciding, you know, this outfit. We’ll send her pictures, and she’ll help me choose,” she explained.

The budding actress expressed gratitude for Janhvi’s involvement, saying, “She’s very involved in every aspect of my life, especially because I’m so new, and I feel like there’s so much experience that you have to learn from. She wants me to learn from her success, learn from her mistakes, and kind of move forward.”

Khushi Kapoor is gearing up for the release of Loveyapa, her debut film directed by Advait Chandan. The rom-com features her alongside Junaid Khan, the son of Aamir Khan. The film’s trailer has already generated buzz, showcasing Khushi as a lively and vibrant character who brings infectious energy to the screen.

The plot of Loveyapa centers on a quirky premise where Khushi and Junaid’s characters exchange phones, leading to a series of comedic and romantic misunderstandings. Packed with laughter, romance, and entertainment, the film is set to hit theatres on February 7.
