A few hours after Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA and former Health Minister T Harish Rao posted visuals on social media platform X stating that the Keesara Health & Wellness Centre “stands locked, abandoned, and surrounded by weeds, a clear reflection of Congress’ failure in governance”, Telangana Health department official said that the Health and Wellness Centre was under construction.
Medchal-Malkajgiri’s District Medical and Health Officer said that currently, the services are being offered at a Primary School and that staff has been allocated.
“The building is under construction. Electricity and water supply works are pending. The building was officially not handed over to the Health department as the works are yet to be completed,” said the official who added that the building will be inaugurated after completing the works in a week.
