Katrina Kaif loves being a “Punjabi Bahu”. While she keeps her personal life private, her sweet bond with mother-in-law Veena Kaushal always grabs attention. In a recent interview, she gushed about the delicious homemade food her “sasuma” makes for her.
In an interview with Vogue, the actress talked about her go-to meal and said, “It’s always going to be pancakes, it’s the greatest dish ever created. I have also recently started enjoying my mother-in-law’s parathas with makhan (butter).” Katrina Kaif’s sweet confession has melted hearts, with fans calling her the ultimate “Punjabi Bahu”.
Last year, Vicky Kaushal also revealed how his breakfast preferences have changed dramatically after his marriage to Katrina. During an interview with News Tak, the actor tagged their marriage as “parathas weds pancakes”.
“They are the same only. She loves pancakes, I love paranthas. Even she eats parathas. She loves mom ke haath ke paranthe (Katrina loves paranthas made by my mom),” the Chhaava actor said.
Coming back to Katrina, she also talked about her fitness and self-care journey and said, “I feel better about myself physically and mentally when I’m fit after doing my yoga and cardio. No one but I can make myself feel better, except for my husband sometimes. He gives me a lot of love and appreciation. I think that’s an important aspect of learning—to accept or understand unconditional love.”
Besides acting, the Ek Tha Tiger actress is equally dedicated to her beauty brand, Kay Beauty, which was launched in 2019. She recently appeared at an event to receive the honour for her contribution to the beauty industry. Speaking about being both an actress and a businesswoman, Katrina told Vogue, “I’ve carried many similar traits from being an actor into being an entrepreneur and a business owner. I’ve realised that listening is essential in business, and the same goes for acting. To collaborate, you must first listen carefully.”
On the work front, Katrina Kaif was last seen in the mystery thriller film Merry Christmas opposite actor Vijay Sethupathi. Helmed by Sriram Raghavan, the film received decent responses from fans and critics alike. She has not announced her next project yet.
