Katrina Kaif visited the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela on Monday and participated in the sacred ritual of taking a holy dip at Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati rivers. The actor, who was accompanied by her mother-in-law, also met Swami Chidanand Saraswati, the president of Parmarth Niketan Ashram, and sought his blessings during her visit.

In an interaction with ANI, Katrina Kaif expressed her excitement and gratitude for being part of the event. “I am very fortunate that I could come here this time. I am really happy and grateful. I met Swami Chidanand Saraswati and took his blessings. I am just starting my experience here. I like the energy, beauty, and significance of everything. I am looking forward to spending the whole day here,” she said, radiating positivity about her sacred experience.

Earlier in the month, Katrina’s husband, Vicky Kaushal, had visited Mahakumbh Mela before the release of his upcoming film Chhaava. The event, held at the revered Triveni Sangam, continues to attract many devotees, including celebrities.

Akshay Kumar also participated in the holy dip at Triveni Sangam earlier. He praised the well-organized arrangements at the venue, thanking Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for ensuring excellent facilities. Akshay expressed his gratitude to the officials and security personnel, appreciating their efforts in ensuring the safety and comfort of devotees. “I want to thank all the officials and security personnel for taking care of everyone here,” he said.

As the Maha Kumbh Mela nears its conclusion, the final bathing ritual is scheduled for February 26, coinciding with Mahashivratri, marking a significant spiritual event for devotees across India.

Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal was spotted at Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s birthday bash in Mumbai, where he joined Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. The trio will soon star in Bhansali’s Love & War. Vicky is also celebrating the success of his film Chhaava, which has crossed the Rs 350 crore mark at the box office.
