Katrina Kaif, on Monday, visited the holy Maha Kumbh Mela with Vicky Kaushal’s mother, Veena Kaushal. They visited Parmarth Niketan and met Swami Chidanand Saraswati at his ashram at the Maha Kumbh campsite. Later in the day, Katrina Kaif was seen distributing ‘prasad’ to devotees with the Swami.
Videos of the actress’ visit to the Maha Kumbh have gone viral across social media platforms. In one such video, Katrina could be seen giving prasad to devotees who were visiting the holy site. They asked Katrina about her well-being and the actress politely smiled at them. Have a look here:
In another video, Katrina expressed gratitude for visiting the holy site and told ANI, “I am very fortunate that I could come here this time. I am really happy and grateful. I met Swami Chidanand Saraswati and took his blessings. I am just starting my experience here. I like the energy and the beauty and significance of everything. I am looking forward to spending the whole day here.”
Parmarth Niketan’s Instagram page posted several photos from Katrina and her mother-in-law’s visit. Previously, Katrina’s husband, actor Vicky Kaushal visited Maha Kumbh Mela amid the release of his latest film, Chhaava. Expressing his gratitude to be able to visit Prayagraj at the auspicious time, the actor had said, “I am feeling good. I was waiting to visit Mahakumbh. I am fortunate as I got the opportunity to come here.”
