Karisma and Kareena Kapoor’s cousin Aadar Jain got married to his ladylove Alekha Advani in Mumbai a few days ago. The entire Kapoor clan came under one roof to celebrate their marriage. Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, their children Suhana Khan and Aryan Khan were also present at the wedding ceremony. An inside video from the grand event shows Karisma happily greeting her ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’ co-star Shah Rukh’s son Aryan Khan. She was seen having a blast at the wedding, as she grooved with her relatives and interacted with the guests.
The video that has surfaced on social media shows Karisma Kapoor dancing her heart out with Orry, Anissa Malhotra Jain and others as the song ‘Subha Hone Na De’ played at Aadar and Alekha’s wedding. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was also seen greeting people at the wedding. Lolo appeared delighted and excited as Aryan greeted her, and she embraced him with a warm hug. Karisma looked cheerful and was in her element as she danced with effortless grace. Check out the video below!
For the unversed, Karisma Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan have shared screen space in the 1997 film ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’ which also starred Madhuri Dixit. The romantic drama, directed by legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra, has returned to the big screen after 27 years. It re-released in theatres on February 28, 2025. Lolo and King Khan have also worked together in the crime drama ‘Shakti: The Power’ which released in 2002.
Meanwhile, Karisma Kapoor has been on a photo-sharing spree, and has been dropping some stunning photos from Aadar and Alekha’s wedding. For the special occasion, she donned a traditional golden kanjeevaram saree with a metallic embroidered blouse, and accessorized her look with a statement navratan and polki necklace, earrings and a golden clutch.
On the work front, Karisma Kapoor was recently seen as one of the judges on the dance reality show ‘India’s Best Dancer Season 4’. She also starred in Homi Adajania’s mystery thriller film ‘Murder Mubarak’, which released on Netflix in 2024. Karisma will be next seen in a series Brown, helmed by Abhinay Deo. It is reportedly based on Abheek Barua’s 2016 book City of Death.
Meanwhile, Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, Ba***ds of Bollywood, starring Bobby Deol and Lakshya, is set to premiere on Netflix in June 2025.
