The entire Kapoor clan came together to celebrate the wedding of Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani. Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Shashi Kapoor’s sons Karan Kapoor and Kunal Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and many others were spotted arriving for the wedding. Now, Karisma has also shared some inside pictures from the wedding ceremony. In one picture, she was seen enjoying a fun moment with her cousins Zahan Kapoor and Shaira Kapoor. Lolo cheekily captioned it ‘singles in the family’, celebrating the trio’s single status.
Karisma Kapoor took to her Instagram story to share a picture with Kunal Kapoor’s children Zahan Kapoor and Shaira Kapoor. Lolo looked stunning in a traditional golden kanjeevaram saree with a metallic embroidered blouse, and accessorized her look with a statement navratan and polki necklace, earrings and a golden clutch. She posed next to her cousin Zahan Kapoor, who was dressed in a beige and golden kurta, while Shaira looked stunning in an ice blue lehenga. The trio struck a lovely pose, and their camaraderie was quite evident in the picture. Embracing their current single status, Karisma Kapoor playfully captioned the picture, “Singles in the family (red heart emoji) @zahankapoor @shairakapoor #Me.” Check it out below!
Karisma Kapoor was previously married to industrialist Sanjay Kapur. They got divorced in 2016. They are parents to a daughter, Samaira, born in 2005, and a son, Kiaan, born in 2010.
For the unversed, Zahan Kapoor and Shaira Kapoor are Shashi Kapoor’s grandchildren. Zahan made his screen acting debut with the 2022 film ‘Faraaz’, and was also recently seen in Vikramaditya Motwane’s thriller series ‘Black Warrant’, which released on Netflix. Zahan’s performance in the series garnered immense praise.
On the professional front, Karisma Kapoor was recently seen as one of the judges on the dance reality show ‘India’s Best Dancer Season 4’. She also starred in Homi Adajania’s mystery thriller film ‘Murder Mubarak’, which released on Netflix in 2024. The film also starred Pankaj Tripathi, Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, Suhail Nayyar and Tara Alisha Berry. Karisma will be next seen in a series Brown, helmed by Abhinay Deo. It is reportedly based on Abheek Barua’s 2016 book City of Death.
