Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is taking her time, reflecting on her life, and understanding various phases. Taking to her Instagram story, Kareena shared a cryptic note focusing on acknowledging the challenges that come with marriages, divorces, anxieties, childbirth, parenting, and even death. She emphasised one’s theories and assumptions are not a part of reality, hinting that she might have had her own turn too.
“You’ll never truly understand – Marriages, Divorces, Anxieties, Childbirth, Death of a loved one, Parenting. Until it happens to you, Theories and assumptions of situations in life are not realities. You think you are smarter than most until life humbles you when it’s your turn,” her post read. Kareena posted the message with a simple heart emoji.
This comes in the wake of a recent tough situation that the Khan family recently went through after Kareena’s husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, was attacked by an intruder at their Mumbai residence. The post came days after the actress shared another Instagram post, asking the media to respect the family’s privacy and avoid relentless speculation and coverage. “I kindly request that you respect our boundaries and give us the space we need to heal and cope as a family. I would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation during this sensitive time,” a part of her note read.
The incident took place on January 15 late at night when the intruder forced his way into the couple’s house and attacked Saif multiple times with a knife before escaping. Following the attack, the actor was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgeries and was later discharged on January 21. Ever since, Kareena, along with their other family members, has stood by his side as a pillar of support.
Investigations are currently underway in the matter, while the Mumbai police have arrested the accused, identified as Shariful Islam. In the latest development, the police have matched Shariful’s fingerprints with those found at the actor’s home. They also confirmed that Saif Ali Khan’s staff members have also identified Shariful Islam as the one who entered the house that night.
Since the incident, Saif and Kareena have both maintained a distance from media interactions, majorly avoiding public outings.
