Tanishaa Mukherjee recalls childhood fights with sister Kajol.

Tanishaa Mukherjee is the younger sister of Bollywood superstar Kajol. Veteran actress Tanuja married Shomu Mukherjee and had two daughters, Kajol and Tanishaa. In a conversation with Hautterfly, Tanishaa Mukherjee opened up about her childhood with Kajol and said that her older sister had a bad temper. Tanishaa said that she and Kajol would fight a lot, leaving Tanuja worried about their well-being.
Tanishaa said, “Kajol and I used to fight a lot. She is older than me in age as well as in size. She is physically bigger than me… My mother used to get scared that Kajol would kill me one day. She had a very bad temper when she was a kid. My mom used to be very scared.”
Tanishaa added, “My mom made a rule that we can fight without touching each other. I think it was a very good thing that Mummy did for us. Because of that, Kajol and I developed a strong bond of sisterhood for each other.”
She mentioned that since Tanuja would be busy with shoots, Tanishaa was raised by her grandmother and great-grandmother. After Tanuja got divorced, she had to work relentlessly to support her daughters and run the household. My great-grandmother raised me. My mom would go for work. Her brother and his two daughters were also used to stay with us. So, I grew up with three sisters,” shared Tanishaa.
Previously, in a chat with SCREEN, Tanishaa mentioned that her grandparents helped to raise her. “It’s not easy for single mothers. They have to put food on the table and they have to take care of the baby. Luckily, for her, we lived in a joint family. We were brought up by our grandmother and great-grandmother, So we had three generations bringing us up.”
Tanishaa Mukherjee became popular after starring in an old season of Bigg Boss. While she was romantically involved with Armaan Kohli back then, Tanishaa is reportedly not dating anyone and has no plans to get married anytime soon.
