Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan is busy promoting his upcoming romantic comedy film Loveyapa, co-starring Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor. Helmed by Advait Chandan, known for Laal Singh Chaddha, the film will be hitting the theatres on February 7. Ahead of the release, Junaid Khan was captured in the film city where he arrived to shoot for a project.

Glimpses of the actor surfaced on social media and in one such video, the Maharaj actor could be seen delighting a little fan by clicking a picture with him. As the clip proceeds, we see Junaid walking towards his vanity van. At one moment, he turns around and says “Thank you” to the paparazzi.

Junaid wore a purple hoodie with the text ‘Sachcha Pyaar’ written on the front and paired it with blue jeans. The actor was also seen carrying a black backpack.

Fans were quick to share their reactions to the video. A person commented, “Without attitude,” another added, “He is very innocent.” Someone also chimed in, “So gentle and Nice person.”

Loveyapa marks Junaid and Khushi’s theatrical debut. It also features Grusha Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Tanvika Parlikar, Kiku Sharda and Kunj Anand in pivotal roles.

Recently, during a chat with SCREEN, Junaid shared that he wants to release Loveyapa on YouTube. “I want our film to reach as wide an audience as possible. If it were up to me, I would upload my film to YouTube and make it available for free to everyone. However, that is not an appropriate move. Our producers and distributors have experience with this. They have a greater knowledge of how this film may reach a larger audience, whether through theatrical, OTT, or television,” he said.

Backed by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment, Loveyapa will be facing a clash with Himesh Reshammiya’s action thriller film Badass RaviKumar.

Junaid made his acting debut with the Netflix film Maharaj. Helmed by Karan Malhotra, the film also featured Shalini Pandey and Jaideep Ahlawat in lead roles. Khushi, on the other hand, made her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.
