The Jonas Brothers—Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas—announced a new Christmas film. It is scheduled for release during the 2025 holiday season. For the comedy movie, the brothers’ trio reunites with Disney as they jointly produce the project. The announcement came through a fun video shared by Disney Plus Hotstar on their Instagram, marking their reunion with the platform.

I am Joe. I am Kevin. Sorry to bother you, but we’re making a Christmas movie. Coming out this holiday season. Only on Disney+ (sic).” All three of them smiled while making the announcement. The caption attached to the post read, “Too early for Christmas? Nah. The Jonas Brothers Christmas movie premieres later this year, only on #DisneyPlus (sic).”
According to Variety, Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas’s upcoming film, “face a series of escalating obstacles as they struggle to make it from London to New York in time to spend Christmas with their families.” It is reported to be directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Jessica Yu, best known for her work in Quiz Lady and This Is Us. Furthermore, it is produced by 20th Television (a part of Disney Television Studios), along with the Jonas Brothers. Adam Fishbach, Spencer Berman and Scott Morgan will serve as the co-producers.
Grammy-nominated Justin Tranter has been brought on board as executive music producer and will be writing original songs for the film. Apart from the brothers’ trio, Priyanka Chopra might also be a part of the film.
The association between the Jonas Brothers and Disney dates back to the time when the pop-rock trio released their second album. The brothers decided to unveil the album with Hollywood Records, a Disney-owned label. Since then, they have collaborated with Disney Channel multiple times, even starring in the original movie Camp Rock and its sequel, reported Variety.
The Jonas brothers are known for hits like Year 3000, Burnin’ Up and more recently Sucker.
