Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani are all set to tie the knot, and ahead of their big day, the couple hosted a Mehendi ceremony at the NSCI Club in Worli, Mumbai. The event saw the who’s who of Bollywood in attendance, including the Kapoor family. Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt made stylish appearances.
However, what took everyone by surprise was Jaya Bachchan’s rare cheerful interaction with the paparazzi. Known for her no-nonsense approach towards shutterbugs, Jaya greeted the paps with a big smile and even waved at them, making for a rare and unexpected moment. The veteran actress donned an embellished multi-colored jacket suit and made an early exit from the function. She was escorted out by Kajal Anand, Anissa Malhotra, and Nitasha Nanda. For the unversed, Jaya’s daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, is married to Nikhil Nanda, who is Aadar Jain’s cousin.
The Jain family posed happily for the cameras stationed outside the venue. Manoj Jain, Reena Jain, Armaan Jain, his wife Anissa, and Aadar were seen twinning in shades of blue, white, and pink.
Meanwhile, Karisma and Kareena Kapoor turned heads with their elegant fashion choices. Karisma looked regal in a magenta kurta set paired with a matching lehenga and a golden potli, while Kareena opted for a green floral gown with side slits, carrying a statement handbag from Sabyasachi.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt arrived with Soni Razdan and posed for the cameras. Alia stunned in a yellow embellished sharara set, while Ranbir looked dapper in an ivory kurta set.
Aadar and Alekha, who have been dating for two years, are now ready to take the next big step in their relationship. The actor proposed to Alekha in a dreamy beachside setup in the Maldives, making their journey to the wedding even more special.
