Go Kyung-Pyo has recently found himself in the spotlight, not just for his work but also for his personal life. Following the controversy surrounding an inappropriate photo shoot, dating rumours about the Reply 1988 actor have been making rounds online. Reports suggest that he has been in a relationship with a non-celebrity woman for over three years.

However, as speculation spread, the actor’s agency responded with a brief statement: “It is difficult to confirm,” as quoted by AllKpop. The company neither confirmed nor denied the dating rumours.

On February 6, multiple Korean media outlets reported that Go had been secretly dating a non-celebrity woman for the past three years. The alleged couple was reportedly spotted at a concert, enjoying each other’s company. According to sources, they appeared comfortable and affectionate in public.

This isn’t the first time Go has faced rumours about his love life. Before enlisting in the military in 2018, he was previously linked to a dating scandal. At the time, his agency, CL&Company, quickly denied the claims, saying, “The dating rumours are not true. Go Kyung-Pyo was spotted with a close friend who is not his girlfriend.”

In addition to the recent dating rumours, Go Kyung-Pyo was the subject of a viral claim on January 7. Reports alleged that he engaged in inappropriate behaviour with a woman at an unattended photo studio in a remote location.

Go Kyung-Pyo made his acting debut in 2010 with the drama Jungle Fish 2. He later starred in several hit productions, including Don’t Dare to Dream, Love in Contract and Frankly Speaking.

Despite his extensive career, his most iconic role remains in the cult classic K-drama Reply 1988, where he played Sung Sun-Woo, a character who had a romantic storyline with Sung Bo-Ra, portrayed by Ryu Hye-Young.

At present, the actor is gearing up for his next variety show, Sixth Sense: City Tour, alongside Yoo Jae-Suk and Song Eun-Yi. Directed by Jung Cheol-Min, the show’s first episode is set to premiere on February 13, 2025.
