Ira Khan and her beau Nupur Shikhare have a knack for fitness activities and adventures. In the latest post, Ira gave a peek into another thrilling outing with her husband. It comprised a picture of the duo wearing T-shirts with their name imprinted on the back. Nupur’s tee had his nickname ‘Popeye’ written on it. Seemingly posing for a candid click with their back facing the camera, the duo walks in the street of the city, dishing out major couple goals. Ira posted a bunch of heart emojis along with the picture.
Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare recently marked their first wedding anniversary with goofy snaps on Instagram. The carousel opens with a loved-up photo of the couple wherein they are seen sitting on the balcony, smiling and looking at each other. In the next photo, Ira is planting a kiss on her husband’s cheek while he gives a quirky expression. The subsequent photo saw Nupur snuggling next to her. Additional frames saw the duo clicking selfies and posing together with funny expressions. Along with the post, Ira wrote, “Happy Anniversary, my love.”
On the professional front, Ira Khan runs a mental health support organisation whereas Nupur Shikhare is a fitness trainer. He has trained the likes of Aamir Khan and Sushmita Sen among other celebs. Nupur and Ira got engaged in September 2022 after the former proposed to his ladylove at the Ironman Italy, where he participated.
Two years after engagement, Ira and Nupur decided to take the plunge and got married to each other in an intimate wedding on January 3, 2024. The couple first solemnised their relationship via a registered marriage at Taj Lands End, Bandra. Later, they also exchanged vows as per Christian rituals in Udaipur. The dreamy wedding ceremony was attended by close friends and family.
A grand reception in Mumbai followed the wedding ceremony. Several stars from the industry including Saira Banu, Dharmendra, Rekha, Jaya Bachchan, Hema Malini, Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Sushmita Sen, Katrina Kaif and Esha Deol were among the attendees. Aamir Khan and his family members gathered to celebrate Ira’s special day. Imran Khan, Ira’s cousin, also marked his presence at the function, showering blessings on his bride.
