Rakul Preet Singh, who is immensely loved for her acting skills, has begun filming for her much-anticipated film, De De Pyaar De 2. The upcoming romantic comedy, directed by Anshul Sharma, is a sequel to the 2019 film De De Pyaar De. The 2025 film, produced by T-Series Films and Luv Films, stars Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan alongside Rakul Preet. Recently, she was papped outside the sets of the film, and her behaviour won millions of hearts.
In a video on Instagram, Rakul Preet Singh was spotted outside her vanity van by the paps stationed over there. Known for her captivating presence on the screen, the actress is incredibly admired for her role as Ayesha Khurana in the 2019 film De De Pyaar De. Now, as she reprises her character in the 2025 sequel, her fans eagerly wait for the movie. Amid this, her fans were seen waiting for the actress outside the film’s sets. As soon as she came out from her vanity van, her fans were seen approaching her for selfies, and the actress, without any hesitation, accepted the request.
Rakul was then seen posing for the lens alongside the fan. As she walked towards her car, she was seen interacting with the paps present over there. One of them informed the actress that someone was getting married and she needed to be there. Soon, the Yaariyan fame accepted the invitation and mentioned that she would be there.
The paps also asked her about another upcoming film, Mere Husband Ki Biwi. To this, the actress revealed that they need to watch the film to understand the entire plotline. Finally, she confessed that the movie will be released on her first anniversary with her husband Jackky Bhagnani, February 21. In 2024, the duo tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Goa.
However, she also hilariously revealed, “Mere husband ki biwi sirf main hoongi, aur kisiko main hone nhi dungi (I will only be my husband’s wife, and I won’t let anyone else be).” For the day, Rakul wore a white-hued co-ord set teamed with a lavender-coloured shirt. She completed her look with middle-parted curly open hair, pink glossy lipstick, pink eyeshadow, thin strokes of eyeliner and highlighted cheeks.
Last year, Rakul Preet Singh appeared in two Tamil films: S. Shankar’s vigilante-action film Indian 2 and the science fiction film Ayalaan opposite Sivakarthikeyan. For 2025, she has three films in her pipeline: two Hindi films, Mere Husband Ki Biwi and De De Pyaar De 2, and a Tamil movie, Indian 3. The upcoming Tamil movie on her list is under post-production. Meanwhile, she has been filming for De De Pyaar De 2, which will hit the theatres on May 1.
