Huma Qureshi is back with the fourth season of Maharani. The actress shared a photo from the show’s set, as she started shoot. In the SonyLIV series, Huma plays Rani Bharti, an illiterate woman, who becomes the Chief Minister of Bihar after her husband gets injured.
On Saturday, February 22, Huma started shooting a new season of her superhit series. She flaunted a black T-shirt with the words “Maharani is back”, written on it. Sharing the same, she wrote, “It is time for Season 4 !!! Filmmaker Farah Khan expressed her excitement for the series, and wrote, “Congratulations babe.” Fans also showered love on Huma’s picture.
Huma once spoke to Hindustan Times about the Maharani’s success. She said, “I can definitely define my career before and after Maharani. That was the show where everyone stood up and took note of my talent. Its success inspired people to think about me in positions they hadn’t considered before. And now, Maharani is going to have a season 4.”
She further added, “More than me, my OTT success has increased the creators’ trust in me. As artists, you can have complete confidence in yourself, but you can’t accomplish anything until you have the opportunity to showcase your abilities. Actors ultimately rely on others to hire them.”
Huma Qureshi started her career with the Gangs of Wasseypur films. Over the years, she has established her mettle as a versatile actor with projects such as Bell Bottom, Badlapur, Ek Thi Daayan and Jolly LLB 2, among others. Next, she will be seen in Jolly LLB 3, co-starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi.
