ZNMD 2 on the cards?
Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol have reunited on screen, but it’s not for a Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara sequel. The actors’ latest ‘collab’ left social media users elated. The trio, the leading stars of Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobara, posed together for a photo, leaving fans waiting for a concrete announcement on the sequel. However, as it turns out, the actors starred together in an advertisement for Abu Dhabi.

From Farhan and Hrithik bickering over car seats to Abhay being their friendship glue, the ad made fans nostalgic. In a twist of events, unlike in the film, Hrithik threw Farhan’s phone out of the car this time and handed him a pink flip phone. Watch:
One person wrote, “The phone throwing is genius….loved it.” Another wrote, “Time to re-watch ZNMD 🫶🏻.” One fan mentioned, “Havent aged these bwoys have they 😍.” Another added, “I would watch a znmd 2 with the married boys having mid life crisis and doing a trip once again and sort of falling in love with life/their partners in the process again in a heartbeat.”
Although fans are always demanding a ZNMD sequel, is a part 2 on the cards? Filmmaker Reema Kagti, who co-wrote the film with Zoya Akhtar, recently shared in an interview that they have no plans on revisiting the film with the intention of making a sequel unless they truly have a compelling idea. “People might think I’m being a bit pompous because it is our film, but I really feel, because of the pressure on us to write Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara 2, maybe that’s a film we should leave alone till we get a really good idea,” Reema told Zoom.
