Hina Khan has shared delightful news for her fans. Recently, the actress shared an update about her cancer treatment and revealed that her chemotherapy sessions are done.
“Not last chemo. My chemos are over, my surgery is also over, I am on other treatment right now. I am taking my immunotherapies, and everything is going good,” Hina told a photographer recently in Mumbai, as quoted by Hindustan Times.
Hina Khan confirmed her cancer diagnosis in June 2024. Recently, she attended a public event on the occasion of World Cancer Day when she broke down while talking about her battle with the disease. A video of the actress also surfaced on social media in which she was seen addressing a group of people. She mentioned that is it not easy to battle cancer and called for timely testing.
“You have no idea how big is it when your tests are negative. Ask us, how hard it is. (breaks down) I am so sorry. It is so hard to read those reports, visit a doctor after getting reports and getting a diagnosis. It is better to spend money on testing. It is not a waste of money,” Hina said.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Hins was recently seen in Griha Laxmi. In the show, she portrays a simple housewife who becomes the reigning queen of the city’s drug world. Last month, Hina spoke exclusively to News18 Showsha when she opened up about promoting the show during cancer treatment.
“None of this was planned. We weren’t waiting to start the promotions of Griha Laxmi and release it after my diagnosis. But now that this is happening, people are relating my character to my real-life personality even more,” she said.
