Comedian Harsh Gujral has deleted all episodes of his show – The Escape Room from his YouTube channel. The show, known for its dark humour and explicit jokes, premiered in December 2024. So far, only two episodes of the show have been aired. However, both of them have also been removed from YouTube now.
As reported by Hindustan Times, Harsh has removed all YouTube videos of the show and made its Instagram account, with 34.3K followers, private. However, it should also be noted that the comedian has not issued any statement as of now regarding his decision.
This comes at a time when comedian Samay Raina has also been facing legal issues and backlash for his show – India’s Got Latent. It all started after YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, during a recent episode of the show, allegedly asked a contestant an inappropriate question involving body parts and proposed an indecent act in exchange for Rs 2 crore. The outrage peaked when he posed a controversial question: “Would you watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join once to stop it forever?”
The comment left many shocked and disappointed. In no time, the video went viral on social media with many, including politicians and film personalities, condemning Allahbadia’s comment. Following the incident, a police complaint was filed against Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina and several co-judges, including Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh and Apoorva Makhija. Besides this, the Supreme Court also schooled Allahbadia recently.
While Samay has also deleted all episodes of India’s Got Latent from YouTube, he recently addressed the controversy during his Canada show and said, “Shayad samay kharab chal raha hai mera, par yaad rakhna doston, main samay hoon (Maybe my time is bad right now, but remember, my friends—I am time itself).”
