Sunita Ahuja’s manager has denied divorce rumours with Govinda, following claims by the actor’s manager that she ‘spoke too much’ in recent interviews.

Amid swirling rumours about Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s alleged divorce, the actor’s wife and close aides have stepped forward to dismiss the claims. The speculation began after Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, hinted that Sunita’s recent statements might have led to the rumours.
Speaking to Mint, Sunita Ahuja’s manager, Sadia Solkar, denied the divorce rumours, stating, “This is not true.” Her response came after Sinha’s comment to HT City: “Sunita ji ne jo recent interviews mein baatein boli hain, yeh unn sab ka nateeja hai. Unhone zyaada bol diya hai (The rumours began as a result of everything Sunita Ji has been saying in recent interviews. She might have said a bit too much).”
While the manager claimed no legal action was in motion, Govinda’s family friend and lawyer, Lalit Bindal, made a surprising revelation. In an interview with India Today, Bindal shared that the couple had indeed filed for divorce six months ago, but later reconciled.
“They travelled to Nepal during the New Year and performed puja together at Pashupati Nath Mandir. Everything is fine between them now. Such things keep happening between couples, but they are going strong and will always be together,” Bindal clarified.
He also refuted claims that the couple was living separately. Addressing the buzz about Govinda staying in a different house, he explained that the actor had purchased a bungalow when he became an MP, but it was meant for official use. The couple, however, continues to reside in their longtime home.
Bindal further pointed out that Sunita’s words were being misinterpreted. “Like when she said ‘Mujhe Govinda jaisa pati nahi chaiye’ (I don’t want a husband like Govinda in my next birth), she also added that she wanted a son like him. Or when she said he was with his own valentine, she meant he was working. Unfortunately, people are twisting her words.”
The lawyer reassured that Govinda and Sunita Ahuja remain together and dismissed any possibility of a divorce. “No divorce is going to happen,” he stated, putting all speculations to rest.
