Looks like Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar are leveling up in the real estate game. The much-in-love couple just splurged a whopping Rs 10.13 crore on not one, not two, but three luxurious apartments in Mumbai’s plush Versova neighbourhood. This locality houses a number of celebrity homes.
As per documents accessed by Square Yards, Gauahar Khan and Zaid have acquired three apartments in the Shiv Kutir Co-operative Housing Society, Versova, with a combined carpet area of 3,497 sq ft. The three apartments are located on the 14th and 15th floors of the building. Of these, two have been jointly purchased by Gauahar Khan and her husband, Zaid Darbar, covering a total area of 2,393 sq ft. The combined price for the two flats is Rs 7.33 crore.
The third apartment, spanning 1,104 sq ft, is registered solely in Gauahar Khan’s name and comes at a hefty price of Rs 2.80 crore.
The three apartments include three car parking spaces and have been purchased from previous owner Kishore Patel.
For the three apartments, the couple incurred a stamp duty of Rs 57.95 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 60,000. Gauahar also availed a 1 per cent stamp duty discount, a benefit offered by the Maharashtra government for properties registered exclusively in a woman’s name.
On the professional front, Gauahar Khan is currently headlining the web series Lovely Lolla, alongside Isha Malviya in a pivotal role. She is also busy filming Fauji 2, where she shares the screen with Vicky Jain.
She has a son named Zehaan with Zaid Darbar. He was born on May 10, 2023. The couple got married on December 25, 2020. On December 20, 2022, Gauhar had announced on Instagram that she was expecting her first child.
Zaid is an actor and the son of music director Ismail Darbar.
