Anupam Kher recently hosted a question-answer session on X (formerly Twitter). The actor responded to fans’ queries with the utmost sincerity. That’s when, an X user asked The Kashmir Files actor on tips to embrace baldness. Kher’s reply will leave you in splits.
“Hello, Anupam Uncle! How to embrace baldness?,” wrote an X user. Kher responded to the post by writing, “You don’t need to embrace baldness. Just shave your head. And you will be an esteemed member of prestigious club of baldies!Jai Ho!” Check out the post here:
Anupam Kher has often spoken about his baldness, mentioning how he has always taken it in his stride. He once shared that today, people think of his baldness as a part of his style statement. However, that wasn’t always the case.
“I was not even the best looking guy to have landed in Mumbai in the ’80s! I was a skinny young man with a balding head. What you see today is a dignified, sexy bald look. Back then, having a head full of hair was more important than talent. Today, people can say that Anupam Kher actor ban sakta hai toh hum bhi ban sakte hai. Back then, there was nobody who I could refer to, so I used to look up to Telly Savalas (American singer and actor). Even Amrishji (Puri) used to wear wigs,” he once told ETimes.
On the work front, Anupam Kher has over a 100 films to his credit. Though he has majorly worked in Hindi films, Kher’s career spans across multiple languages, including international projects too.
In 2024, he was a part of Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay, Kaagaz 2, The Signature and Vijay 69. This year, he was seen in Kangana Ranaut-starrer, Emergency.
