A video of Eminem firing up a crowd with an explicit chant against Donald Trump is making waves on social media, with many assuming it was from a recent concert.
The clip shows Eminem on stage addressing the audience. “So Reading, I’m not about to stand up here and use this f****** stage for some kind of a platform to be all political and s*** and I don’t want to cause any controversy so I won’t say no names — but this mother****** Donald Trump I can’t stand!, he can be heard saying in the viral video.
As expected, the crowd erupts in cheers and launches into a chant of “F*** Donald Trump.” Seeing their enthusiasm, Eminem encourages them further, shouting, “When I say ‘f***’, you say ‘Trump’!”
The chant carries on for a while before the rapper adds, “Cause he’s got our country f****** up in America,” before transitioning into his song White America.

Is This a Recent Event?
Not at all. While the clip is authentic, it’s not new. The footage dates back to August 2017. This moment took place at the Reading Festival in England and was widely covered at the time by publications like Billboard and The Independent.
Even X (formerly Twitter) stepped in to fact-check the resurfaced clip, adding a note stating, “This clip is from 2017, the post is structured in a way that makes it seem recent.”

Eminem has never shied away from expressing his disdain for Trump. That same year, during a performance in Glasgow, he reportedly took the stage wearing a shirt that read “FACK TRUMP.” He also dropped an eight-minute diss track titled Campaign Speech, taking direct shots at Trump with lyrics like: “A f****** loose cannon who’s blunt with his hand on the button / Who doesn’t have to answer to no one—great idea!”
While the energy in the video is undeniably raw, it’s not a recent protest, just a resurfaced moment from years ago.
