British pop singer Ed Sheeran is returning to India to host a six-city tour. Set to perform as a part of his record-breaking + – = · x Tour, the singer’s consecutive performances across India have his fans excited. Ed, too, is equally enthusiastic to perform as he posted a long note on social media, seeking recommendations for restaurants in India. FYI, the singer last visited India in March 2024 to perform for a sold-out show in Mumbai.

Ed Sheeran’s note attached to his latest post read, “India! Coming back for my biggest tour ever there next week. Will be popping up all over the country, lemme me know some recommendations in the comments on food/restaurants to try in the cities I’m going to, and musicians I should check out. Oh and sports games I should go to. Can’t wait to be back in one of my favourite places on earth.”

Pre-sale tickets were available for booking from December 9 for select cardholders on the entertainment platform BookMyShow. Later, general ticket sales began on December 11.

Last year, Ed announced his tour in India in an Instagram post. “Coming back to India for my biggest ever tour of your beautiful country. Also coming to play Bhutan for the first time, coming back to Qatar for the first time in a decade and playing that beautiful amphitheatre in Bahrain again. What a way to start 2025, can’t wait to see you all there.”

When Ed Sheeran performed in Mumbai last year, one of the biggest highlights was his surprise collaboration with Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh, sending fans into a frenzy. The duo’s electrifying stage presence had the crowd dancing to the beats of Diljit’s Lover. Ed shared a video from the concert, expressing his excitement: “Got to bring out Diljit Dosanjh tonight in Mumbai and sing in Punjabi for the first time. I’ve had such an incredible time in India, more to come!”
