Dining With The Kapoors will soon be out on Netflix.
Alia Bhatt not on the show?
Often referred to as the ‘first family’ of Bollywood, the Kapoor clan is here to delve into their filmy stories and personal anecdotes over a hearty meal. Their new show, Dining With The Kapoors, was announced on Monday, February 3, at the Next on Netflix event in Mumbai. While much is not known about the show, its poster has generated immense buzz about the project.
Netflix India shared the project with the caption, “A seat at the table with one of the oldest and grandest Bollywood families ✨ Watch The Kapoors engage in unfiltered conversations, unending gossip, and unbelievable life stories. Dining With The Kapoors is coming soon, only on Netflix.” However, while all members of the Kapoor clan, even their spouses, were tagged in the post, Alia Bhatt’s mention was missing. The show’s poster features Randhir Kapoor and his daughters Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor; Reema Jain and her sons Adar Jain and Armaan Jain; and Neetu Kapoor and her kids Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Ranbir Kapoor. The show’s main focus is thus on Raj Kapoor’s lineage.
The caption also mentions Kunal Kapoor, Zahan Kapoor, Nitasha Nanda, Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda, Neila Kapoor, Jatin Prithviraj Kapoor and Shaira Kapoor. The caption also mentions spouses like Kareena’s husband Saif Ali Khan, Armaan’s wife Anissa Jain and Riddhima’s husband Bharat Sahni. However, Ranbir Kapoor’s wife, Alia Bhatt, has not been mentioned in the post.
Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot with Alia Bhatt on April 14, 2022, in an intimate ceremony at their residence in Mumbai. Ranbir and Alia got married on their balcony, remembering the actor’s late father, Rishi Kapoor. They welcomed their first child, daughter Raha Kapoor, on November 6 of the same year. While Ranbir and Alia initially didn’t reveal Raha’s face to the public, they introduced her in front of the cameras at the Kapoor’s Christmas lunch in 2023. Although Alia hasn’t been mentioned in the post, fans are eagerly anticipating seeing her and Raha on the show.
