Vijay Deverakonda is gearing up to start shooting for his next film. The project currently hogged the limelight after producer Dil Raju accidentally announced the title of the actor’s project, VD13. Titled Rowdy Janardhan, this project would witness the Dear Comrade star collaborating with filmmaker Ravi Kiran Kola. Ever since the film’s title confirmation, movie buffs have been actively discussing the film’s title, with various speculations circulating on social media.
Some assumed that the reason behind the name was because Vijay’s fans call him “Rowdy,” while others suggested that he portrays a rowdy character in the film. Putting an end to all the speculations, Koimoi recently reported the actual reason behind the upcoming movie’s title.
If the reports are to be believed, the title Rowdy Janardhan for the Vijay Deverakonda starrer has a very special reason. Inside sources close to the portal claimed that the movie would take place in the backdrop of the Rayalaseema region, and Vijay would play a rowdy role in the movie. Therefore, the makers will present Vijay in a similar rowdy avatar, as people living in this geographical area are generally identified as rather violent and rough.
However, there is no official confirmation from the makers or actors on the reports about the Vijay Deverakonda starter.
On March 5, producer Dil Raju, while attending a press meeting for the re-release of Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, accidentally confirmed the title of Vijay’s upcoming movie. During the conversation, the producer also mentioned that Ravi Kiran Kola’s directorial had already completed its pre-production stage and was ready to begin filming in April or May.
Looking ahead, he will be seen in the highly anticipated upcoming movie titled Kingdom Kingdom. Gowtham Tinnanuri’s directorial, scheduled to release across India on May 30, would see Vijay pulling off a completely rugged and well-built muscular physique for the same. Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments, the film will showcase Vijay as a rising warrior who emerges to save his people and protect them at all costs from all the foes around.
Apart from Rowdy Janardhana and Kingdom, Vijay is also roped in for a historical period drama directed by Rahul Sankrityan.
