Cluster Complex Meetings to thrash out key issues of education sector, says official

Teacher training, student progress and discussions on various teaching strategies within the cluster school system were some of the key issues deliberated at length in the 2,809 Cluster Complex Meetings held across the State under the supervision of the AP State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) on Saturday, said Council Director M. V. Krishna Reddy.

In a statement on Sunday (February 16, 2025), Mr. Krishna Reddy said besides review of the previous meetings, discussions were held on the planning for student enrolment in schools, completion of syllabus, evaluation of student progress, strategies to be adopted to help ‘C’ and ‘D’ grade students improve, implementation of 100-day action plan for students of Class 10, strategies for achieving good academic results and setting NIPUN targets in the primary education system.

Subject-wise demonstration classes, monthly teaching plans, strategies to achieve learning outcomes among students, school management plan and review and evaluation of training outcomes were among other topics that came up for discussion.

Mr. Krishna Reddy said teachers were finding the new structure more efficient. He said Cluster Complex Meetings will be held on the third Saturday of every month from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and if the third Saturday is a holiday, the meeting would be conducted on fourth Saturday.
