Hina Khan made her powerful comeback on-screen merely months after she was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. The actress was most recently seen in Epic On’s show Griha Laxmi, where she played the titular character. The crime thriller also features actors Chunky Panday and Dibyendu Bhattacharya in other pivotal roles. After the release of Griha Laxmi on January 16, the Housefull actor took to his Instagram account to share some behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets.
Chunky’s post featured photos of his co-star, Hina, whom he couldn’t stop praising. In the first picture, the 62-year-old actor is seen posing with his co-star with warm smiles. Following this, the Griha Laxmi stars are seen having lunch on sets. In addition to these, Chunky delighted his fans by sharing a few pictures of his look from the show in the next few slides of his carousel.
The actor concluded his post with another heartwarming selfie with Hina and a serene glimpse of a temple under the moonlit sky. In the caption, Chunky wrote, “With this Power house of Talent @realhinakhan celebrating the success of #grihalakshmi only on EpicON.”
Chunky’s post immediately caught Hina’s attention, and she reciprocated the love by commenting on the post. She wrote, “I love youuuuu,” followed by a red heart and flower emoji. Actress Mahima Chaudhry also penned a comment on the post. She wrote, “Woohoo.”
Hina, who is bravely fighting stage three breast cancer, recently shared a glimpse of her new show Griha Laxmi on Instagram. Her post showcased various looks from the show, where she portrays a housewife who turns to crime to support her family. In one of the pictures, Hina, with her signature smile, was captured sitting at a doorstep. She added in her caption, “The #GrihaLaxmi vibe is all over my feed… Have you seen it yet?!?!”
Hina Khan, the talented actress, bravely opened up about being diagnosed with breast cancer in June last year. Despite facing significant health challenges, she has remained unwavering in her determination and faith, continuing to meet her professional commitments while undergoing treatment.
