With the trailer and the first song already making waves among audiences, the latest update confirms that the film has officially been certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
According to the CBFC website, Chhaava has been granted a U/A 16+ certificate, ensuring that it reaches a broad audience while maintaining its intense historical narrative. The film boasts a runtime of 161 minutes and 50 seconds—equivalent to 2 hours, 41 minutes, and 50 seconds—promising an immersive cinematic experience. Set against the backdrop of Maratha history, Chhaava sees Vicky Kaushal stepping into the powerful role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the valiant son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Opposite him, Rashmika Mandanna portrays Maharani Yesubai, a significant figure in the Maratha empire.
