A car caught fire on the Belagavi-Goa Road near Jad Shahapur in Belagavi on Monday.
The vehicle was completely burnt to ashes. But no one was injured.
Akshay Patil from Hindalga village, the owner, his wife and child were travelling. They noticed smoke and ran out in time.
Fire and Emergency Services personnel arrived at the scene and extinguished the flames. Belagavi Rural Police have registered a case.
