J-Hope hosted a live broadcast on his birthday where he was joined by fellow BTS members Jimin and Jungkook.

BTS’ J-Hope celebrated his birthday on February 18 in a memorable way by connecting with fans through a Weverse live broadcast. The rapper took time out of his busy schedule to interact with ARMY, and share updates and heartfelt moments. But what made the live extra special were the surprise appearances from fellow BTS members Jimin and Jungkook.
During the live show, Jimin called in unexpectedly which caught J-Hope and his fans by surprise. As J-Hope put him on speakerphone, Jimin admitted shyly, “I feel embarrassed, my face is turning red!” He also took a moment to send love to fans, saying, “I love you.” Just when fans thought the surprises were over, Jungkook’s voice suddenly joined the conversation. It turned out he was with Jimin at the time and the three members had a fun chat.
While talking about their ages, Jimin exclaimed, “I can’t believe I’m already 31!” Jungkook, who is about to turn 30, joked, “I only have six months left in my twenties.” J-Hope was shocked, saying, “Wait, you’re 29 already?” Jimin added, “This is crazy. I can’t believe Jungkook is almost 30!”
One of the biggest moments from the live show was when Jimin revealed that he had gained weight recently. “I need to start losing weight now. I weigh 67.8 kg. I’m bulky!” he said. J-Hope quickly reassured him that it was muscle gain. Jimin then pointed out, “But Jungkook is even bigger!” to which J-Hope laughed and agreed, saying, “Jungkook is huge now.”
Fans couldn’t get enough of this revelation and flooded social media with their reactions. One fan wrote, “Jimin is 67.8 kg? Are they saying Jimin is bulky?!”
Another commented, “Jimin, I felt like it’s been so long since I last heard your voice—can’t wait to see you soon! 67.8 is such a lovely weight.”
“I feel so happy that Jimin is healthy and eating well. I really hope he never worries himself about his weight and stays happy and healthy,” said another fan.
Apart from the live broadcast, J-Hope’s birthday was celebrated with a surprise from his staff and fellow BTS member Jin. In a video shared on Instagram, J-Hope entered a dark room only to be welcomed with cheers, a crown, a cake and a bouquet.
Jin, who was also there, gave him a warm hug and later took to Weverse to wish him a happy birthday. He hilariously mentioned treating J-Hope to his favourite meal which made the birthday boy laugh.
