Boney Kapoor Shares His Experience Of Visiting Maha Kumbh Mela, Says ‘Never Seen Such A Sight Before’

Boney Kapoor visits Maha Kumbh Mela

The Maha Kumbh Mela has been attracting many celebrities. Many have visited and taken a holy dip. Recent to join them was Boney Kapoor who also took a holy dip in the river. He also shared his experience and mentioned that he had never seen such a sight before. To note, the ongoing mela will end on Mahashivratri, i.e. February 26.

Speaking to ANI, Boney Kapoor said, “I have come here many times, but once, I had brought my grandfather’s ashes. After that, I came for an event in Prayagraj, but I had never seen such a sight before. The entire atmosphere here… There are so many people in our India. I now believe that our country has a population of 140 crore, 150 crore.”

The actress shared the photos of her spiritual journey and called ‘big memories’. Till now many celebrities have visited the Maha Kumbh mela.  Taking to her Instagram handle, Sonali shared photos in which we can see her offering prayers to Lord Sun and also traveling through boat. “Little moments, big memories,” read the caption. Many fans dropped heart emojis in the comment section. Celebrities like Hema Malini, Anupam Kher, Bhagyashree and Milind Soman, as well as poet Kumar Vishwas, cricketer Suresh Raina, wrestler Khali, choreographer Remo D’Souza and Mahamandaleshwar of Kinnar Akhara, Mamta Kulkarni also visited the sacred site.

As the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 draws to a close, Prayagraj city is witnessing a significant influx of devotees arriving to take the final holy dip in the sacred Sangam. Authorities have been put on high alert to manage the growing crowd and ensure smooth operations at designated spots as February 26 marks the last major snan of the Maha Kumbh, coinciding with Mahashivratri.

Notably, government officials said that the count of devotees is expected to cross 65 crore mark by the final snan on February 26. The Kumbh Mela began on January 13. Between February 25 and 26, seven trains, including the Howrah-Mumbai Mail (12321), passing through Nashik Road railway station will be cancelled from their point of origin.

Officials said that decision was taken to make way for special trains operating for the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, according to the Central Railway’s Bhusawal division authorities.

Boney Kapoor is currently busy looking for location for No Entry 2. The film has been grabbing headlines for a long. It will star Arjun Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Dhawan in the lead role.
