The meeting between these two powerhouse idols didn’t happen at an award show or a backstage event—it was actually thanks to their makeup artists, who thought they’d hit it off. And clearly, they were right. During her guest appearance on Jang Doyeon’s YouTube show SalonDrip on February 4, Jisoo spilled the details. “My makeup shop and Karina’s makeup shop owners are very close and they helped in hooking us up. The owner told me that I would have fun hanging out with Karina,” she said.

Jisoo also mentioned that their first meeting was a simple but memorable one. “We ate food and chatted at a cafe. I was curious about what goes on in the industry these days and what is trending or popular,” she shared. With Karina being part of the newer wave of idols, she gave Jisoo some insight into the rising trend of dance challenges in K-pop. “Turns out challenges are a thing that everyone does,” Jisoo added, amused at how much the industry keeps evolving.
Beyond her friendships, Jisoo has been keeping busy with major projects. Her fans are counting down the days until her much-anticipated acting comeback in Boyfriend On Demand (Monthly Boyfriend), which is now in production. Her drama Newtopia is set to premiere on February 7, adding to the excitement.
