Sana Makbul and Srikanth Burredy have apparently broken up.
Today, we’ve got some piping hot news straight from the reality TV universe for you. Remember how we all swooned over Sana Makbul and her beau, Srikanth Bureddy, during the Bigg Boss OTT 3 finale? Well, it seems the romance might have hit a rocky patch post-show. According to trusted sources of News18 Showsha, the duo has parted ways amicably.
For those who need a quick refresher, Sana Makbul clinched the Bigg Boss OTT 3 title on August 2, 2024. As host Anil Kapoor announced her as the winner, her Telugu businessman boyfriend, Srikanth Bureddy, was right there to cheer her on. The duo made headlines when Srikanth hinted at wedding bells ringing soon, telling the paps, “When it happens, it will be known to all. It is not something that can happen in just two months. It will take time, but the marriage will surely take place.”
Fast forward to now, News 18’s exclusive sources reveal that the couple decided to part ways shortly after the Bigg Boss OTT 3 finale. Things were not working out for them and they thought it was best to break up but they remain on cordial terms.
In an attempt to get the lowdown, we reached out to Sana Makbul for a comment. However, the actress played it coy, neither confirming nor denying the rumours. She told us, “It’s my personal life whatever happened. I really don’t want to talk about it, I won’t give a comment yet.” Her ambiguous response has only added fuel to the fire.
We also reached out to Srikanth Bureddy but he didn’t pick up our calls.
Both Sana and Srikanth are yet to issue an official statement on the status of their relationship.
Meanwhile, in an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha last year in September, Sana had said that she has never wanted to date an actor. “I’ve actor friends who’re either married or are dating but they don’t have that sense of security. Understanding each other is rare and it’s beautiful. Taking each other’s criticisms positively is very important. Everyone has their own perspective on this but I’ve never dated anybody who’s an actor. I’ve never been in a situation like that. I’ve always looked for somebody outside the industry, maybe a businessman. And since I haven’t had the experience of dating an actor, I don’t know how it works.”
After winning Bigg Boss OTT 3, Sana Makbul appeared in numerous music videos.
