Post his Bigg Boss 18 win, Karan Veer Mehra has shared his thoughts about Vivian Dsena. While the two started off as friends, they turned into frenemies during the course of the show. In a recent interview, Karan was asked whether he feels Vivian is arrogant about his professional status, to which he replied that Vivian has an air about himself, and that there’s nothing wrong with it. He also reacted to Vivian and his wife Nouran Aly not inviting him to their bash post the reality show.
While speaking with Siddharth Kannan, Karan Veer Mehra said, “Vivian ko waise hi ghamand hai. Pata nahi kis cheez ka, par wo hai. He has an air about himself, which is in him. Agar wo is profession mein nahi hota, toh bhi wo aisa hi hota. Some people are like that. They have a little air about themselves. Which is the person they are, nothing wrong in it. (Vivian is anyway arrogant. I don’t know about what, but he is. He has an air about himself, which is just part of who he is. Even if he wasn’t in this profession, he would still be like this).”
When asked whether he feels the air was about Vivian feeling like he was more successful than Karan, he replied, “Unka perception toh nahi pata. But mereko to ye tha na. I was coming from a jealous space. And I have said it ki ‘tujhe kaafi kuchh easily mil gaya’. You are the laadla, you have been announced as top 2. Aur jo gaya bhi wo top 2 mein. You got things easily. Hum dono ki personal life upar neeche hui, but you are in a better personal space. So there is a little jealousy that I have. (I don’t know about his perception. But I’ll tell you, I was coming from a jealous space. And I have said this to him, that you’ve got a lot of things easily. You’re the favorite, you’ve been announced as top 2. You got things easily. Our personal lives were up and down, but you are in a better personal space. So yes, there’s a little jealousy on my part).”
Karan Veer Mehra On Why He Couldn’t Be Friends With Vivian Dsena On Bigg Boss 18
Karan Veer added that he expected Vivian Dsena to react differently when he told him he was coming from a jealous space. “I thought when I told Vivian that I am coming from a jealous space, you being the bigger person would say ki ‘nahi yaar, tune bhi toh bohot kuchh kiya hai.’ (You have done a lot too). Toh we would have played it together,” said Karan. He said that they could have been good friends on Bigg Boss, but Vivian went ahead and shook hands with Avinash Mishra, with whom Karan had a tiff with at the time. Hence, the gap between them kept widening. “Then calling out a girl for her toilet habits is uncalled for. I found it very immature, child-like. That is one thing that kept distancing me from him. So I thought apan apna group banao,” he added.
Karan Veer Mehra On Vivian Dsena Not Inviting Him To His Bash
Karan Veer was also asked whether he had FOMO since he wasn’t invited to Vivian’s bash. In response, he humorously replied, “Unko FOMO hua hai ki main party mein nahi aaya tha. Kaafi log hain jo mujhe bulana chaah rahe hai, jaha main nahi pohchunga toh bohot FOMO hoga. (He has FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) that I didn’t come to the party. There are many people who want to invite me, and if I don’t show up, there will be a lot of FOMO).”
Karan Veer Mehra Reacts To Reports Of Vivian Dsena Unfollowing Him
When asked about Vivian’s wife Nouran Aly, he said that he has no opinion of her as he met her only once. He found it nice that she took a stand for her husband. Further reacting to Vivian unfollowing him on Instagram, he said that these things don’t matter to him, and that he is simply focused on working. “Mereko apne kaam se matlab hai, kaam kar raha hu,” he said.
