Bhumi Pednekar represented India at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2025 at Davos, Switzerland. The actress was declared a Young Global Leader by the WEF for her work in the area of climate change. Besides her official duties, the actress took the time to explore the dreamy destination and delighted her fans with a sneak peek from her trip. The Bhakshak actress shared a carousel post which she captioned, “Swiss cheese, chocolate, snow and some selfie’ #BPTravels.”
In the first snapshot, Bhumi is seen posing against a picturesque snowcapped backdrop, while the other post is a video in which she remarks, “It is not as bad; it’s only 0 degrees; at least it’s not minus. There is no snow today, and it’s cold.”
In other candid shots, the Dum Laga Ke Haisha actress strikes poses with breathtaking views in the background. Another video captures Bhumi enjoying Swiss cheese at a local restaurant, while one of them shows a cheese cube dipped in melted sauce.
Another video posted by Bhumi showcased her cab driver predicting her journey in politics. He said, “Aap ek din MLA ya MP ki seat zaroor ladoge.” (You will definitely contest for MLA or MP seat one day). The last video showed Bhumi preparing herself to beat the chilling Switzerland weather as she wore multiple layers.
As soon as the Shubh Mangal Saavdhaan actress shared the clip, it captured the attention of her fans and family. Bhumi’s sister Samiksha Pednekar commented, “You’re too pretty.” Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife Tahira Kashyap wrote, “I can see Raju driving you around.” An Instagram user wrote, “Snow and you, such a pretty combination.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Bhumi will soon kick off the promotions of her upcoming film Mere Husband Ki Biwi, which is slated to hit the big screens on February 21, 2025. Helmed by Mudassar Aziz, known for Khel Khel Mein and Pati Patni Aur Woh, the film also features Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh in key roles.
Apart from that, she will also be seen in a web series titled The Royals which also features Ishaan Khatter, Nora Fatehi and veteran star Zeenat Aman in lead roles.
