Daniel Bisogno, renowned actor and beloved host of Ventaneando, has tragically passed away at the age of 51 after battling severe health complications for weeks. The heartbreaking news was confirmed through Ventaneando’s official social media accounts, leaving fans and colleagues across the entertainment industry in deep mourning.

Bisogno had been facing ongoing health challenges, which worsened following a liver transplant in 2024. Despite his condition, he remained one of Mexico’s most recognised TV personalities, known for his wit and fearless commentary.

Born on May 19, 1973, Bisogno began his journey in the entertainment industry by studying at Televisa’s Centro de Educación Artística (CEA). While he initially pursued acting, his career took a defining turn when he joined Ventaneando as a host in 1997. His sharp humour and outspoken nature quickly made him a fan favourite. Beyond television, he was also an accomplished theatre performer, starring in popular productions such as El Tenorio Cómico and Lagunilla, mi barrio.

Announcing his passing on X (formerly Twitter), the Ventaneando team shared an emotional tribute:

“With profound sadness, we regret to share the news we never wanted to give: Our dear Daniel Bisogno has passed away due to complications following his liver transplant last September. Ventaneando is in mourning. We have lost one of our most cherished members. Rest in peace. We will always honour his memory.”

According to Hola, his brother, Alejandro Bisogno, previously shared details about the complications, saying, “The problem is that a bacterium settled in the bile ducts. It’s a bacteria that has been mutating—each time antibiotics are administered, it becomes stronger.”

Alejandro mentioned that during Daniel’s most recent hospital visit, doctors had to remove small tubes from his bile ducts because they had collected harmful bacteria. After removing them, the infection spread through his blood, which made his condition worse. Reports suggest that Daniel was supposed to get another liver and kidney transplant, before his passing.

Other than his brother Alejandro Bisogno, Daniel Bisogno was survived by his father Concepcion Bisogno and sister Ivette, along with daughter Michaela, whom he shared with his ex-wife Cristina Riva Palacio.
