Guwahati, Mar 8: Assam Police apprehended a Bangladeshi national, Ashraful Haque, for illegally crossing the border and deported him to Bangladesh.
Officials stated that the individual was caught near the international boundary and sent back following established procedures. Assam Police have increased surveillance to prevent unauthorized entries.
Authorities confirmed that monitoring and security measures remain in place along the border.
