Guwahati, Feb 5: Cyclist Devendra Bishnoi from Assam has secured a silver medal in the Men’s Elite Team Sprint event at the 38th National Games 2025. Representing the Sports Authority of India (SAI) National Centre of Excellence (NCXK) in Guwahati, Bishnoi’s accomplishment brings pride to the state and the Indian cycling community.
This success adds to Assam’s medal tally at the ongoing National Games in Uttarakhand. As of February 4, the state has claimed 1 gold, 9 silver, and 5 bronze medals, placing 25th in the overall standings.
The National Games, which began on January 28, will conclude on February 14, with 37 teams competing across 43 sporting disciplines.
