Guwahati, Jan 7: Assam Police has successfully seized narcotics worth over ₹11 crore in three separate anti-drug operations across the state.
In the first operation, Cachar Police seized 1.17 kg of suspected heroin, valued at ₹5.1 crore, from Dighar Fulertol. In a second operation, the same police unit recovered 73.97 kg of Ganja, worth ₹38 lakh, from Dhanehari under the Sonai Police Station.
Additionally, Karbi Anglong Police intercepted a bus traveling from a neighboring state at Dillai Tiniali, recovering 1.22 kg of suspected heroin, estimated at ₹6 crore.
These successful operations demonstrate the ongoing efforts of Assam Police in combating drug trafficking and ensuring the safety of the community.
