Guwahati, Jan 22: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met with South Korea’s Minister for SME and Startups, Oh Youngju, on Tuesday to discuss investment opportunities and potential collaboration between businesses in both regions. The meeting is part of Sarma’s efforts to strengthen economic ties and attract investment to Assam.
During his three-day visit to South Korea, Sarma also engaged with prominent firms in the renewable energy and semiconductor sectors. The discussions are aimed at inviting investors to the ‘Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit’ in Guwahati on February 25-26, 2025, where investment opportunities in the state will be showcased.
