Guwahati, Jan 23: The budget session of the Assam Legislative Assembly is scheduled to begin on February 17 and will continue until March 25, an official announced on Thursday.
In a historic first, the session’s inaugural day will be held in Kokrajhar, where Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya will deliver the opening address. After a one-day break, the remaining part of the session will take place at the Assam Assembly complex in Guwahati from February 19.
