Ashish Chanchlani, one of India’s most popular YouTubers, recently opened up about a sour experience with a Bollywood actress during a promotional collaboration. Without revealing her name, he recalled the incident during his appearance on The Thugesh Show.
Ashish shared how the actress exhibited rude behaviour toward his brother, Tani, who was excitedly capturing behind-the-scenes footage. He recalled, “Ek actress ke sath ek promotional video kiya tha. Name obviously nahi lunga. Badi nakchadi thi yaar. Bahut faltu ka attitude tha. Bahut naatak… mere bhai ko daath diya tha. Mera bhai Tani wo bechaara mere BTS video nikaal raha tha, excited tha. Aise karke bolti hai, ‘You’re shooting in the middle of a scene huh?’ Badi nakchadi hai yaar aur bada humble banti hai bahar ya unki PR banata hai… par thi nahi bilkul bhi. Wo hi ek humara kharab raha hai incident baaki toh badhiya hi rahe hai.” (I did a promotional video with an actress once. Obviously, I won’t name her. But man, she was such a diva — had this totally unnecessary attitude and so much drama. She even scolded my brother, Tani. Poor guy was just excited, shooting BTS content for me. She goes like, “You’re shooting in the middle of a scene, huh?” So full of herself, acting all humble in public or maybe it’s just her PR doing the job, but she really wasn’t like that at all. That’s the only bad incident we had; otherwise, things have been good.)
The YouTuber expressed disappointment at the actress’ condescending attitude, despite her seemingly humble public image, which he attributed to a strong PR strategy.
Ashish also grabbed attention recently for his incredible physical transformation. In 2023, he revealed an inspiring moment that triggered his fitness journey, a conversation with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
Recalling the interaction, Ashish said SRK playfully held his belly and remarked, “Ashish tum yaar please wazan kam karo, bahut ache lagoge main guarantee deta hu, jao yaar aaj hi gym jao, bas isse andar karo. Cute toh tum ho ab time aa gaya hai fit ho jao, zindagi nai badli toh main advice dena band kar dunga.”
Ashish said that the actor’s words were motivating and respectful. “Will never forget his words, the way he gave me an advice without fat-shaming me is the reason why I fell in love with this man,” he added.
