Director Priyadarshan, who helmed the first part, recently fueled speculation about his return to the most beloved comedy series during a playful exchange on social media. Apart from the trio, the film also featured Bipasha Basu, Rimi Sen, Sharat Saxena, Manoj Joshi and others.

The film takes the audience on a fun ride that promises unlimited laughs. It follows the life of three men, Raju, Shyam, and Baburao (played by Akshay, Suneil and Paresh respectively), who are duped by Anuradha, a scammer (played by Bipasha) while trying to make quick money. When a gang of criminal (Rajpal Yadav and Sharad Saxena) is after their life to retrieve the money he lent them, the trio goes to any length to protect themselves.
Talking about Hera Pheri 3, a source told Pinkvilla, “The entire gang is aware of how successful Hera Pheri has become and wants to go to any length to provide an unforgettable laugh experience. “The third part of Hera Pheri will go on floors after 6 months of writing and pre-production.” Reportedly, the third part will be hitting the theatres in 2026.
Recently, on Priyadrashan’s birthday, the Khiladi actor took to social media and extended a heartfelt birthday wish sharing a candid picture from the sets of their upcoming film Bhoot Bangla. However, it was the director’s reply to his post that caught the audience’s attention. He wrote, “In return, I would like to give you a gift – I’m willing to do Hera Pheri 3. Are you ready @akshaykumar, @SunielVShetty, and @SirPareshRawal?”
