
Tawang, Jan 30: The District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting for the quarter ending December 2024-25 was held on Wednesday at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Tawang. The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of various projects under the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) and evaluating the implementation of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) scheme.
The meeting was chaired by the in-charge Deputy Commissioner of Tawang, Sangey Wangmu Mosobi, and attended by SP Tawang Dr. D.W. Thongon, EAC Kyidphel Tsering Choden, and representatives from the Additional DC offices of Lumla and Jang, along with department heads responsible for overseeing developmental initiatives in the district.
Deputy Commissioner Mosobi expressed her appreciation for the officers’ participation, despite the challenging cold weather and the ongoing Torgya Dungyur festival. She encouraged departments to raise any issues that require intervention from her office and to provide explanations for delays in project implementation.
The meeting featured detailed presentations from various departments, including reports from PWD Lungla and the Deputy Director of Industries, who updated attendees on state flagship programs and MLALAD schemes.
Concluding the session, Mosobi directed all implementing departments to ensure high-quality work, adhere to project timelines, and submit utilization certificates to the government in a timely manner. The DLMC meeting served as a crucial platform for reviewing developmental progress and ensuring the effective implementation of key schemes in the district.
